I am Danielle Proch, a Florida Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Florida Qualified Supervisor and a Nationally Certified Counselor.
I graduated from Liberty University Bachelor of Science Psychology Counseling Program in 2011 and the Liberty University master's in psychology counseling Program in 2014. I’ve served as a Bereavement Coordinator a hospice for 2 years in Pittsburgh, PA. It was an honor to walk alongside the dying because they taught me how to live.
Since moving to Florida, I have worked at a Community Health Drug and Alcohol Detoxification Center and in Community Mental Health for co-occurring mental health and substance abuse disorders.
My specialties include trauma counseling, grief and loss, LGBTQIA+ as well as anxiety and depression. My goal is to guide you through life's most complex and difficult issues by allowing space for your feelings, designing a treatment plan based on your strengths, proven techniques and your unique individual needs.
I am trained in different modalities of treatment including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Strength-based therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, as well as Integrative Therapies. I am also a Reiki Master and a Florida Qualified Supervisor.
I enjoy spending time with family, friends and spending time on the beach. My hobbies include crafts, exercise, swimming and reading and spending time with my pets.
Phelicia is an unofficial co-therapist. Her name means happy or joy and she certainly brings joy to me and my clients. They love seeing her during sessions and she loves being seen!
