Licensed Mental Health Counselor | Qualified Supervisor | Trauma-Informed Therapist I Nationally Certified Counselor
Welcome—I’m Danielle Proch, a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Florida Qualified Supervisor, and Nationally Certified Counselor with over 12 years of experience specializing in trauma-informed care, grief and loss, and clinical supervision.
I earned both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Psychology and Counseling from Liberty University. My early work as a Bereavement Coordinator in hospice care profoundly shaped my approach to therapy: honoring people’s deepest pain while helping them reconnect with their inner resilience and strength. Working closely with the dying taught me the transformative power of presence, empathy, and trust—foundations that guide both my clinical work and supervision practice.
My clinical focus is trauma therapy. I work with adults navigating complex trauma, grief, anxiety, depression, and identity-related challenges, including LGBTQIA+ support. I’m trained in multiple evidence-based modalities, including EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, Mindfulness, and Strength-Based Therapy. I also incorporate integrative healing approaches as a Reiki Master.
In addition to providing therapy, I am passionate about supporting new professionals through clinical supervision. As a Florida Qualified Supervisor, I help registered mental health counseling interns develop their skills, navigate clinical challenges, and grow into confident, ethical, and attuned therapists. My supervision style is collaborative and strengths-based, blending clinical insight with practical guidance in a supportive environment.
Whether you're seeking healing from trauma or looking for a thoughtful and experienced supervisor, my goal is to create a space where you feel safe, empowered, and supported.
When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with family, crafting, swimming, exercising, reading, and relaxing at the beach and spending time with my pets.
Phelicia is an unofficial co-therapist. Her name means happy or joy and she certainly brings joy to me and my clients. They love seeing her during sessions and she loves being seen!
