Center of Resilience Counseling & Wellness

It's great to meet you
If you’re feeling overwhelmed by trauma, grief, anxiety, or depression, you don’t have to face it alone. Healing begins in a space where you feel safe, supported, and understood.
About My Approach.
I very much like a client-centered, holistic approach to therapy. I think it is important to find balance in your life and it starts with improving self-esteem and good self care. I like a person centered approach meaning you are in charge, we go at your speed and things should always be comfortable and feel safe for you during therapy.
Trauma affects both the mind and the nervous system. I integrate evidence-based approaches including:
Together, we can focus on reducing anxiety, processing unresolved trauma, and restoring a sense of stability and resilience.
Grief Counseling
With early experience as a Bereavement Coordinator in hospice care, I bring deep understanding to grief counseling and loss support. Grief is not something to rush — it is something to honor and gently work through.
As a Florida Qualified Supervisor, I provide collaborative, strengths-based supervision to Registered Mental Health Counselor Interns seeking licensure. My supervision style supports ethical growth, clinical confidence, and professional development.

Angie Schilaty, Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern
You don’t have to fight to be seen here.
Are you exhausted by the quiet, heavy pressure to perform? Do you carry the weight of being "fine" for everyone else, while your own needs sit silently in the dark? I believe you. I know the exhaustion of hiding the parts of yourself that feel "too much" or "not enough" just to stay accepted.
In this space, we set down the weight of everyone else’s expectations. I strive to create a sanctuary where your lived experience is our only compass - a place for gentle, grounded growth that honors the person you actually are, not the one you were told to be.
A Path Back to Your Center
Healing is not about moving faster; it is about moving with purpose. Our work together is a collaborative journey back to your own wisdom. By weaving together the clarity of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), the deep listening of Somatic work, and the heart of Emotion-Focused Therapy, we bridge the gap between your mind and your body. Together, we will untangle the "shoulds" that keep you stuck and learn to trust the language of your internal compass.
Dedicated Support for the Journey
Whether you are navigating the complexities of Trauma, C-PTSD, or Religious Deconstruction, or finding your footing within Woman's Mental Health and Neurodiversity, you are held here. My practice offers a soft landing for those moving through Grief, Anxiety, and the delicate dynamics of Relationships.
This is your invitation to stop performing and start arriving. I am here to listen - whenever you are ready to be heard.
